Do you have a cockerel too? Otherwise eggs won't be fertile, so no chicks. We find dipping broody hen bottom in cold water for a minute, repeated every 20 minutes, cools her down and gets her out of brood. Must admit I'd love to let the chickens raise a brood of chicks one day, but I don't think a cockerel would be popular with the neighbours!

Finally after quite a bit of hassle we get the keys to our new house tomorrow and move in next weekend😀so excited now 😃

My sons back at hospital today to have his heart monitor off , we have spent quite a bit of time there this week having various tests done so am hoping for some positive news soon😀

Glad you have finally got your date for keys.
I think your delays have educated me in the uncertainty of the timings of buying a new build. Yes I will not be giving notice until the keys are in my hands. Besides I need to get wardrobes fitted before I move my final bits in:D
Good luck with the move. Interesting thread on the selling and renting forum about moving and have you packed yet. I have a long way to go but it is things I have had for many years I need to shed.

I haven't got that excuse Dippydoo, I lost all my excess weight after having my girls and got back down to a size 8 in my mid thirties. Not sure what happened once I got to forty.

We had 7 broody chickens. I just put food and water closer to them and left some eggs under them after 3 weeks took the eggs away and they haven't done it again. It was quite funny as they were practically sitting on top of each other in the corner they chose. Just let nature take its course. Luckily the other 100+ haven't been yet

justvcaught up but flying visit as up early tom.dsis back for a few days and went out last nite.its very stressful after last time , and had to move garage keys and take mobile to bed, was listening all nite like when he was a baby.sent text at 2am to say was staying out.makes me a nervous wreck and I only had one.
BB..I missed you again and will keep missing you.i am really upset that such a wonderful poster has gone because of this thread becoming cliquey.

I too have suffered wrong car syndrome.came out of newsagents last week.went to car.door was locked.didnt realise til I looked on back seat and saw a yellow vest that it was wrong car.dh had parked round corner and was looking at me , shaking his head, as per.i went bright red....senior moment and im only 21:eek:

also couldnt get sloppyties to recognise my haagan daas, even after 8 times.it saw the uncle bens clearly 3 items up .got mad and reported it...told them their clever robot needs to go to specsavers.am awaiting a reply.
