I think it depends which airline you are using. I'm flying with ye olde Ryanair next week and I have a printed boarding pass after checking in online - as they charge extra (as always!) to have it sent to your phone.

I'm like you mhoc - I like the paper in case of dodgy phone signal.

I use my phone (iPhone) and send my boarding card to the passbook, which should work even if the signal is dodgy. Just to be belt and braces about it, I also take a screen shot on the phone, which will scan just as well in the airlines reader thingy.
Do Ryanair really charge? That's criminal. I've only done it with BA.

Also there was a news item a while back which said to board a plane everyone had to have a fully charged mobile which would be checked and you would be asked to switch it on?
    Has this come into place?

There was a big song and dance about the delays it would cause to flights

I know most modern phones hold their charge for days now - I can only get a day out of mine if I am using it heavily - ie amusing myself while in a very long queue :)

As far as I am aware, this is only for flights for the US, though it may have been extended. They do random checks rather than everyone in the queue. The only time I've been randomly selected was when I was travelling alone. I had my phone, iPad and kindle with me and was taken to one side and asked to switch them all on. Once I had done so, I was politely thanked and left to go on my merry way.

Have been to Billingham today for crips with promo on. Dh picked some up 2 days ago, he bought the cheese grab bags dearer but evry1 favs, and out of 32 bags they was only 2 winners pretty poor but broke even on them.
Got a box of the plain for fil house for when kids r there and had 6winnners in that box. Just opted for the vouchers by post on them all.
In stuff I need I have no fabric conditioner at all, am low on loo rolls ( last pack of 12 mite last the week) last pack of kitchen roll, no deodorants, low on washing up liquid. So a glitch on any of these would be good.
Have had new 3 piece suite delivered. Still not bought a bathroom suite but have now decided am going with a local small firm about £50 more but happier with it. And the cos cheque will come in useful going towards it.
