Morning all. Hope the elite are well xx

At dd1 baby sitting. First time I have had to collect dgd from school so made an effort .clean jeans. And nice top . trainers instead of wellys .tidy hair and went in. and when she was asked if i wss her nain she said yes but I don't usually look so clean and pretty:rotfl:

Tiny. Ds2 got his nan a corsa as he thought it was the ideal car for her and it has been very reliable and fly's through mot and she does a lot of milage.

Thanks rhosynbach. I think I am 99.9% decision made, going to have a proper look with the bag from the caravan awning to measure how well it will fit and give it a spin this afternoon.

Will be sad to see the focus go as it still drives really well, lot of life left in it. :( But after seeing how bad the rust was both sides and knowing I need the brakes done and the aircon sorted and if I really wanted to spend a new motor for electric window. It just seems silly. Gutted I have only just paid out for two new front tyres though.

I did yesterday and thought I was getting a good deal. You have just put a spanner in the works as see there are other salvage cars going for a lot less. :o

TS - Why would you want a salvage car?
Are you sure you REALLY don't want a new electric one with a very long lead?
OMG you creased me up last night.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

oo this is good - hopefully a kind person will confirm this today, pretty please?

Ive just noticed one of the Quidco clicksnaps still has a free sainsburys fish and free buns so that's a good enough excuse to visist Sainsbobs.

also I am hoping OH will come home with some Santa maria MOCs

I was going to have a NSD but I think I just changed my mind :)

The santamaria mocs expire today mhoc. So spend them before you get home. Hth xx
Edit- woman's own magazine ones that is :) Not the printed version xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

This is a difficult one - looking on google images they should be orange

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=magic+orange+rose&newwindow=1&rlz=1T4RNLC_enGB520GB520&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=6ot1VZakF8XpUoiEgagK&ved=0CCcQsAQ&biw=1371&bih=638

Are they from a garden centre or from a supermarket?

If it was me I would take them back but there again how many people at the party are going to know about the orange and navy theme for the original do ...

I've got a bit of a not sure what to do moment.....I am going to an anniversary party on Saturday and am also involved in setting up the venue for the happy couple.

I found out by talking to them about their wedding that the original colour scheme was orange and navy blue so decided to do something a little inspired by that for the anniversary...
On saturday I went out and bought 10 pot roses to be placed on the tables, still in bud but thats fine as by saturday they will be starting to bloom...a beautiful rose called magic orange...or so the label says

One looks to be starting to form the bud colour....and its what I would describe as yellow....

Still lovely roses but not quite he colour they say they will be....now do I take them all back or shall we just go with what there is....

Thank you so much for googling the flower colours MHOC...
My pot insert is quite orange and the buds look almost a pale butter lemon colour...

They came from a greengrocer/small holding so not a big garden centre that would have loads of stock to deal with...I just struck lucky or so I thought when I saw them, and the plan formed to deck out the venue in the original wedding colours...

....AND quite rightly no one is expecting it or would even probably make the connection with using the same theme aside from the female of the pairing!

I think I'll leave it a few more days to at least see if they all start to open out as yellow or whether we have a mixed bag which might need to be changed for at least something all the same.
Maybe they will change colour as they open - I have a rose in my garden that changes from deep pink to yellow
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
