Just a silly question ...when I hang my clothes on line and it comes

to clothes being dried I take the pegs back in .........Can anyone tell

me why people leave them on line ....we wipe the line so as not to

mark clothes ...so pegs left out rust tarnish in colour and they get

dirty so clean line dirty pegs ....So do you take pegs in or leave

    them on line ?

I always take them in. We have a rotary line and keep it covered, and I keep my pegs in an old knapsack type handbag so couldn't leave it out anyway.

I have never worked out why people leave the pegs out either!

Morning all - still gloomy here.

Trying to tackle a huge TO DO list but I needed to have a massive rant - that thundery noise is me doing the rage dance.

I ordered the nice Habitat towels from Argos at the weekend - I even had my ancient threadbare ones in a bin bag ready to take to the animal hospital - they always need bedding and towels.

I paid for them with OHs Hilton Honors card and that nicely took him over the minimum spend he needs to get his voucher code for a free hotel night - so something to look forward to in the autumn :j

And then a message from Habitat this morning to say the entire order has been cancelled today - taken them 5 days to figure this out :mad::mad:
We have done all of the big shops for this week and nothing I need to spend another £25 on until next Tuesday :(

    Back to the house scrubbing

Up and ready early this morning as workmen due to arrive shortly to install a new external water supply. This involves sending some kind of moling device under the driveway - I have visions of Channel Tunnel mark 2  Back loads better today, didn't have to roll to get out of bed :D

    Morning all :)

Good luck. DD2 had this last week and water was cut off from 07.00-20.00 for a week. Then they had to boil all water before use. Had a problem and only got full water on again on Tuesday.

Good morning all, nice and sunny here.

I am currently trying to find a birthday present for a friend, have given myself about 40 days to get it but am going bonkers! What I would LIKE to get is very simple, a tea bag rest (for used tea bags) with a picture of a tiger on it (preferably Siberian). I am sure I saw loads on Ebay before but can I find one now? Heck as like! Any help would be gratefully received :D

    Tiger tea bag rest.

Thank you for the effort, but it needs to be a real-looking tiger, or a picture of a tiger, she's strange that way (me - have strange friends  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
