Re voltarol - brilliant stuff, the only thing that worked when I had a wrist problem

OH has back problems and joint problems and is prescribed something called Movelat gel which is a mild anti inflammatory and pain relief.
I had to resort to using it when I had the foot injury the other week and it did make a difference - i don't think its the same thing as voltarol or as powerful but if you don't like swallowing pain killers it might be an alternative - worth asking the doc if its suitable for your aches and pains

Just want to add if anyone has any problems taking anti inflammatory tablets like me please remember that the gels and creams can still have the nasty side effects if you use them as they do enter the bloodstream. I was unaware of this.

Makes me very limited on what I can use for my osteoarthritis. :(

    Good morning everyone.

Sorry to hear about your grandad.

Thankyou, will keep it in mind, I woke up pain free this morning, and have been for a little walk with the dog, and my legs are not hurting at all this morning, strange!!!!!!

Pleased the pain has gone, wondering if you had a trapped nerve, take care :)

I've never got beyond about 16 in my head! My kids used to tell me off for being childish, they are now 28 and 25 and I have 2 grandkids!!!

After all, what is the point of being an adult if you have to act all grown up :D

Absolutely Enterprise, they say age is a state of mind. I too have grandkids, you can never imagine it can you, the kids grown up and having grandkids. As you say, I don't think in my head I will ever be old. I look at my mum, she is 89 and I cannot imagine what it must be like for her, because, like us, she is probably still young in her head...x

There seems to be a glut of 'you have won' or 'open now for your free gift card', I currently have a gift card from Morries, Sainsbugs, & Boots. It is also, apparently, my lucky day as I have won £100 to spend at Aldis...I am soooo lucky ha ha....
