Just carefully scrutinizing New via CC for the 1st time, it states I have to wait 24 hours but I'm assuming that's not necessarily the case? My order has moved to being delivered and I can click through, but I get the 24 hour message

    TIA

When I checked mine about an hour after deliver it didn't show the shop at all. At 3 hours after delivery it showed I had done a shop today, but had the 'wait 24 hrs' message. On checking again now (approx 4 hours after delivery) it works.

Basically, leave it a few hours and check again!

:( I'd like to add......to the reporter......I dearly hope the reporting isn't being done in my defence. There's no need. I'm more offended at the fact someone is being reported for using their sense of humour to offer support to a friend. I seriously need something to make me smile most days at the moment and David.s (warped ) sense of humour does just that.

    Now......Afternoon.

Welcome to the world lil'est Stink :T:T

    Can I echo this.

David. Has cheered me up no end dragging and kicking my sorry A$$ through my course when I lost hope in myself.

Ive had loads of support in fact but needed to stress that. Xx

Incase anyone is feeling flush and feels the need to put their new found wealth into one of the new bonds Nationwide have announced - 2 new fixed rate 2 year bonds from today - one in branch and one is an e bond - main criteria is that you have to have been a member for over a year.

I suppose these bonds do serve a purpose if only to save you from your own extravagant wanton ways, to restrict you from spending money you have set aside for the big ticket things - new kitchen, bathroom, extension, uni expenses, house deposit, cruise etc

I suppose if you already have a full set of current accounts with interest and monthly savings accounts and have run out of places to put your money then its an option.

No early withdrawals otherwise you loose 180 days interest so you have to be fairly certain you are not going to have a fiscal crisis in the next 2 years - I don't think any of us can say this.

You can open any number of them so it might be amusing on a wet afternoon to see how many they might let you open, each with a few hundred in :rotfl:

The magnificent interest rate is at least fixed at 2%

can you get to the chemist, the pharmacists are usually pretty good at advice and what to take to keep you going till your doctors appointment. Unfortunately our doctors is the same for appointments but they do usually keep some available later in the day for emergency or have you tried getting the gp to ring you at home, if the gp thinks you need it they will get you in at the surgery for a consultation

Thankyou, I have got something a little stronger now, from the chemist, they have kicked in a bit now.

Main thing is that they let you out fairly quick, nothing worse than being kept waiting to go home.

My middle one was born within an hour of getting in the hospital door - fortunately it was a Sunday so we didn't have to fight with traffic and the car park was not metred at the time otherwise he would have been born in the car :D

Even so we had to hang around all day for the paeditrition to do an inspection and in doing so he picked up a skin rash - the doc def said it was something he had acquired in hospital
