Been waiting since DD3 got in from work for her to clear tops of her chest of drawers. I like to give them a good clean once in a while rather than her just dusting them. The furniture will hopefully last well beyond the girls living at home. :money:

It's going to be a bloomin late clean at this rate.

DD seems to hoard empty bottles of perfume......she just won't throw them out:o

Agreed they look pretty but serve no purpose other than gathering dust

Perfume bottles seem to be the majority of what needs to be shifted off, I don't think any of them are empty.

I thought she had finished as came down stairs but quickly disappeared up again. Going to have to stand over her I think it is far too late for me now. But I won't let it drop tonight as she had plenty of warning, if I say forget it now I will feel she has got away with it. :sighs:

I think I can deal with everything too....super woman:o. But I can't. Don't think anyone can...............multi tasking, rushing around, not listening as I'm planning the next thing in my head, eating quickly as I have a meeting....or not eating at all :o talking to someone on the phone and someone sat opposite me at the same time, having a head like a shed........and breathe.

    Life/ work can be stressful:o

I've always had quite stressful jobs and have honestly thrived on the juggling thing. I'm definately more effective time when I'm busy.

I think I just had a very uncomfortable lesson in self awareness that slapped me quite sharply on the face :o I was quite shocked (and maybe a little disgusted) at myself for being jealous of people who had lost loved ones when I hadn't.
It's a very frank and possibly controversial thing to admit to others as well as myself :o that I have sunk so low I was envious of their closure. I really was :( that sounds terrible, I know. But it's how I felt.

My husband is still out there too. He didn't come back and I've shone my teeth at everyone in thankfulness for that for 7 years now. I'm not thankful. I'm bloody annoyed and mad and grieving for what I lost. He was here today and we still speak, we're still close enough for that.

I should have grieved properly at the time but I am an eternal optimist who always looks on the bright side :o

LFAB Darts :( that was painful :( I swore :o

I don't get pretty perfume bottles :o I feel the need to keep them in the box so light and heat can't affect them. But some of the bottles are really lovely

i guess it goes back to when ladies adorned their dressing tables with pretty bottles?

Just two bottles of perfume on my dressing table, both still in boxes. We are so much alike. :rotfl:

Must be at least 10 on DD's drawers. :o

So I have been listening to someone obviously moving something around upstairs just asked if ready and got a no where are the dusters. And can I not do it tomorrow.:mad:

I must sound really mean but I want to cross it off the list in my head tonight. :o She has known since 4.30pm.....I have no idea what she has been doing. Teenagers.

it's Impotant for him to be rewarded for what he has dealt with. it's not necessary for them to do this :A but they are :A it's amazing how above and beyond some people will go :A
