Pity the old APG has gone as the comparisons between old and new were proving quite interesting at times :)

    Good Morning

It's been raining all night and still going now.... My strawberries will be :j:j as will the rest of my nearly finished garden;)

I'm hoping the rain stops for tomorrow as I've spent the last week de cluttering the house for a local car boot tomorrow, if it rains it will be cancelled and I will be stuck with the clutter!!

I went party dress shopping last night with DD we had our own mini version of dress gate:eek: she's hard work. Lovely dresses but....
    It's too heavy
Don't like the tummy band bit
    The insides a bit smooth
Nice but it sticks out a bit:eek::eek:

10 dresses later and I'm loosing the will to live!!! She eventually chose one.... Well if I said it looked like an old pair of grannies curtains that would describe the pattern well:(:(
I don't think she actually liked it but was getting fed up so I went back to the shop and bought a different one. So my job today is to convince her that this one isn't too smooth, heavy nor sticky outy!!! Goodness knows what she will be like as a teenager:eek::eek:
She was actually worse than shopping with my mum and believe me that takes some beating:eek:

Yes thanks, enjoying my new car. :D I drove friends home after an opening night for Mr TS's old work colleague at a brew house I think it would be called, doesn't make it's own real ales but only sells local ones...... Only just having a night cap myself.

I have excelled myself tonight. After couple months ago leaving the leather tags on my new boots went out with the huge price label dangling out the back of my new dress tonight. :o:eek::o

I meant to get someone to cut it off once I had decided what I was going to wear so made sure it was on show when I went downstairs and then totally forgot. Luckily I sat in a corner all night and didn't even go to the toilet. :rotfl:

Hope you are ok too. :)

And I hope everyone is not too sad to see the old APG go, I am sure now the new is in full swing there will be lots of opportunities now it can be concentrated on solely to find any glitches. I was starting to find it a bit confusing. ;)

Ah bless you. We once went to a pretty fancy restaurant and were sat in the lounge where they served canap!s. A couple walked in and sat down, the poor lady still had one of those Velcro rollers in the back of her hair:eek: I was plucking up the courage to tell her when the waitress noticed and whispered to her:eek: her poor husband then got an ear bashing all evening for not noticing!!

Just bringing this forward as there are a few new Elite babies imminent :D

Also worth having is the Aviva app - I have a little life policy that costs me £5 a month (Amazon voucher to arrive shortly, don't know if this is still available) and on it there is Free hot drink Monday at Neros - I get a code to use - I get a hot chocolate which is £2.15.

(generally we go after 3 so we get free parking and I do several other jobs to justify the trip into town - post office, bank, Home Bargains, B & M, superdrug etc and I always take a huge bag of books to the Oxfam book shop)

Woken by very heavy rain this morning. Good for the garden but hope it doesn't mean there will be slugs all over my strawberries :( Just hope it dries up in time for next door's do this afternoon.
DH is out this morning so I might wander down to A to look at the bottled cider - that blood orange one was lovely.

    Morning all :)
