What type of connector do I need for my kitchen tap so I can use my garden hose as I don't have an outside tap. I enclose pics of my kitchen tap.

I don't think one of the squeeze over types will work, but I might be wrong.
This type of universal connector will fit almost any tap:

You slip it over the spout and tighten until it's a good seal.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0 -

Looks like the plastic strainer is 1/2" and could be unscrewed and replaced with 1/2" male iron fitting0

The black plastic bit of the tap, where the water comes out, might unscrew. If so, you might be able to get a hose connector that screws in in its place.
This is absolutely the method you should try. Hozelock sell an aerator cartridge to replace the black plastic thing in the tap, and you can screw a standard hozelock connector to it.
Try to do that before you use one of those horrible connectors that try and make a seal over the whole tap - I guarantee that you'll cover the entire kitchen with water at least once with one of those.0 -

Is that tap against the outside wall? If so it might be a whole lot less hassle to just run an outside tap from the feed to your kitchen tap - it's not a difficult job.0

Yes it is. I've always wanted an outside tap, but getting a plumber in would cost me loadsThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
