Advice Please on coffee machines

I am just about to retire and I have a passion for espresso/cuppuccino coffee. I would like to purchase a decent coffee machine suitable for home use but is man enough for the job of producing several cups and enough steam for the frothy milk We have a small Krups machine that is OK but really want something better without having to nip out to Costa coffee every morning.
Can anybody reccomend one that does not require plumbing
Thanks
Try and do a good deed every day.

I love my coffee. I got one from John Lewis at Christmas. It's the Nespresso Magimix machine.

It's really easy, dead quick & I bought this after checking it out on google and compairing it with other machines/makes.

You have to buy the special little coffee capsules (not available in supermarkets) from Nespresso but they only work out about 21p each.

It tastes like proper coffee and far better than other cheapy makes out there.

I have a Gaggia Classic, and it makes really good espresso.
I am a bit obsessive with my coffee, and appreciate really good stuff.

You will need a decent burr grinder to make the most of a machine like this.

I can highly recommend a couple of mail order coffee suppliers: if you're interested let me know and I'll get the links.
