in Credit cards
I applied for an aqua card to boost my credit rating, probably a cpl of weeks ago and have had a letter come through asking me to sign the delcaration as my application has been looked at and I have been approved. Is this just the type of letter you sometimes get to 'egg' you on to apply or do aqua actually do this?

Hi,
I have no experience with Aqua, but my Capital One application did this.
I had my letter of approval and had to sign and send back , which I did and hey presto my card arrived.
I imagine, its just like a credit agreement, some cards do it, if your unsure call them up and ask.
Hope this helps,

I applied for Aqua card online and got instant decision. They sent me a credit agreement in the post for me to sign and return before my card and pin were issued.0

I got an aqua card a few years back to help my credit rating, they were the only people who would give me a card.
They have been excellent, and despite stupidly being late with a few payments, they never charged me a penny.
Of course, the interest rate is quite high, but if you can pay it off each month, it's a great card, with great customer service.
Two years on, I now have four other cards, but I will not cancel my Aqua. They were the only company who would trust me several years ago, and I feel a loyalty to them.
I'm sorry this never answered your question, but wish you good luck with your application.0 -
