npower owe me £320

Been overpaying my monthly payments due to them overestimating my use despite me giving actual readings and i'm moving to scottish power online 4 which is cheapest in all the price comparisons i've done, they owe me over three hundred pounds. I've given my final readings to scottish power and wondered how long till i can expect a cheque or money back to my bank account. Thing is i want to cancel the direct debits so they can't take anymore money from me and also am in the process of switching bank accounts and fear that they will attempt to refund with my old details and they may be out of date.

How long now till i can expect a refund after giving my final readings to scottish power?

Hi, if you don't request it when you get your final bill, you could be waiting a long time. Remember, like any company they like collecting but not paying!

You should get a vheque within 10 days of your call.
