    Morning all,

Beautiful sunny day here and I had a lay in till almost 10 :o must have needed it. My mum has finally moved into the bungalow :T so I need to pop up there in a while to try and get her induction hob working nobody can get it going but we have one at work so I will have a go.

Going to nip to John Lewis today to have a look at the kettles ours is on the way out the knob has fallen off and cant be fixed back so you have to get the lid off with a knife and its making a terrible noise, I fancy a dualit one as they are UK made and have a good reputation, I have JL vouchers to use up so it wont cost me a lot.

Not sure about dinner it will be something light, maybe jacket spuds and bits and bobs. Will take dd shopping today and get her a big shop only three weeks till she is back for the summer, I cant wait :j

Hester have they threatened legal action ? surely it was just an accident ??

Jackie O nice to see you posting, make sure you take it easy xx

    Have good days all xx

There have been a few iffy text messages, so we'll just have to wait and see!
    Chin up, Titus out.
  • Morning, ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

Took DD2 over for the last day of her course, will collect her this afternoon.

On the way back we stopped in Melton as the shops were just opening. Bought 2 new pillows from Ponden Mill, I have been saying for ages that I needed at least 2. so will sort out the carp ones and substitute new ones. Wilkos and Boyes for bits I need over at the bungalow. Will continue cleaning the kitchen tomorrow, wash down all the greasy cabinets and use a wax spray polish on them. Line the shelves with shelf paper. I also need to get up to the top of the cupboards, no doubt they will be greasy too. I remember the ones at North View Close when we moved in and also Keepers Walk, they were more than horrible. I had to use a wallpaper stripper knife to get the grease off.

Feeling a bit yuk today, not sure if I have picked up a bug of some sort, will see how the day pans out.

OH is in the garden digging up plants, he will not be out for long, its getting on yowards lunchtime.

We were in bed at 9pm last night, shattered. Could be a repeat performance tonight!!

Oh for goodness sake can't people just be normal ? Accidents happen  why don't you sue for the damage to your property ;)

Had a lovely morning pottering in the garden , ive cut the grass and it makes the garden look so much nicer :T

The ' lovely but inconsiderate' neighbours have been digging up the Path at the back to put drains in and piled all the rubble against the dividing fence . The rubble has fallen through the slats and so I've had another job to clean up the patio that DH had done only a few days ago
I've washed my planters on the patio they look lovely one I've turned into a herb tub , but I need to get a couple more as it looks sparse
    .
Mrs LW hope, you are ok xx
Making a mary berry sausage and veg thing for dinner, all done in one pot :T
    Enjoy your afternoon xx

    Good afternoon everyone,

A lovely day again, and not quite so windy as yesterday.

HH, fingers crossed it all comes to nothing, seems a bit OTT from your guests!

Hugs to Mrs LW, it will take time.

JackieO good to hear you're back, take it easy.

Tru, your holiday cottage sounds perfect.

Well I did all the ironing from yesterday this morning and have more on the line. Did most of the housework yesterday, just the sitting room to do shortly. Went to M@idstone earlier and bought some bits for a bbq later, as we got a bbq off freecycle a couple of weeks ago, but haven't used it yet.

Next Saturday DD is having a birthday bbq party, so want to test it out. Have planned out what we are going to do for food and drink I think, so just have to buy it all now:D I am a bit worried about it as we will have about 20 17 year olds, and a few will be sleeping over, so hope they behave themselves.

Anyway off to potter in the garden soon.

Hugs to all and have a good afternoon.:)

Lyn I am so glad that the little poem has brought you so much comfort xxxx

Jackie now don't try to run before you can walk and allow your family to pamper you rotten , lovely to have you back xxx

    Hester it was an accident!
I hate how Americanised we have become, they would sue anyone for a broken nail

Lovely here today and lots of washing done and is out on the line. Nothing left in the basket now :j

    What a Coinkydink!
We are having Gammon today as well :D with some jersey royals and salad with pickles and HM coleslaw followed by HM raspberry ripple cheesecake :D which I made this morning, my fridge smells all raspbubbly now, I must resist opening it just for a whiff :rotfl::rotfl:

We had strawberries with ice cream last night because I got 2 punnets for £1 from the man on the market just before they shut down for the day and 4 punnets of raspberries for £1 I also got a HUGE cauliflower for 50p all prepared and in the freezer.

    I love berry season :D

Busy day tomorrow, we need to take some bits to the tip, then I have a clinic appointment followed by getting a few bits in Morries and then five carrier bags of stuff to take to the foodbank......I sorted out the larder yesterday and to my shame there was a lot of stuff that is out of date in a few months and I know that I won't use it before then and even though I have eaten stuff out of date loats of times I need the space and there are those who will be grateful for those few bits :(

DH is bellowing so I must go

    BFN x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
