Ccleaner computer crash

Hi installed ccleaner on my computer(running XP) and every time I try to run it it causes the computer to crash,any ideas please

I went to the doctors once and told him every time I turned on my heels it hurt, so he said don't do it. It fixed it.

Seriously, I'd run an error check first. I'd commend to you a useful bit of kit called Glary Utilities http://filehippo.com/download_glary_utilities/ which will run a series of checks, one of which is the hd error check. Once completed try installing CCleaner again but you really don't need it with Glary installed.

If you are running XP SP2 then take a look at this bug report

The fix seems to be update XP to service pack 3 or go back to an earlier version of CCleaner eg 5.02
