Disassociation but still connected.

I divorced my ex husband in 2012. I am still on the joint mortgage (taking steps to end that final link), he recently went into arrears which has now decimated my previously very good credit rating. Can I disassociate myself even though I am still financially connected through the mortgage?

Experian do state that you may be able to disassociate if you no longer live together and the joint mortgage is the only link. So worth filing in a disassociation form and hopefully they'll be able to do it.
Not sure about the other agencies but worth a try.
If the arrears are on the joint mortgage then obviously they'd still impact on your file though.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I think you will need to wait until you are of the mortgage altogether0
