Hello
Briefly I'm a self employed cleaner for around 3 yrs
After my 1 st yr I was called into council with books and housing benefit was sorted accordingly
As I was never asked again for gross income I stupidly just presumed by filling in self assessment tax on line and filling in wtc forms each yr ,that the housing, would be adjusted accordingly?
A friend has just asked me if I ring them every year with my profit figures/ income.
Now I'm panicking as obviously my profit varies, all be it slightly.
I'm a single mum of one in private rented which doesn't cover the rent now
I'm going to ring Monday morning but can anyone shed light please.

Send in the details before any overpayment increases. These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0 -
Yes I'm ringing this Monday with my income April 2014/15
Should I have rung every year? No one told me?0
