Laser Eye Surgery/ Lens Surgery Refunds

Treatments cancelled within 3 days of a booking being made will be refunded.
Due to the clinical nature of the treatments we offer, our internal administration process can take up to 28 working days for your refund to be processed

There's always the small claims procedure if you are sure they told you 7 days, although this will be very hard to prove.

Had a consultation on the 30th May for laser eye surgery at Bluewater. I spoke to them and agreed on the cost and she asked for my card details. Gave her my card and paid a £1000 deposit by chip and pin. When I booked it I was told I had 7 days to cancel it.

Tried for 4 days to contact the store to no avail.

If you tried to contact the store for 4 days, was this within the three days they are now asking for? If so, just use your phone record as evidence that you tried to call them to cancel within the time period.

Otherwise, just go and kick up a fuss in store in front of customers, and then they will discuss it!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

This does seem to be down to what they told you

BUT why not cancel the credit agreement, have the produre done, pay another way, then you wont be out of pocket and will be able to see

They are meant to be contacting me by Wednesday, I will see what the outcome is, I do want it done, it was more of a problem with there customer service. I certainly won't recommend them to any body and I will never be shopping there again. Unfortunately, they are local and they do have great results from there laser eye surgery. Thank you for your help and info, I'll update after they call.

Im not sure I understand what the problem is. You want the surgery. Presumably you agreed the price and need finance to cover it.

The customer service has been lacking but to try for 4 days to get through why didn't you go back to the store as you say it is local.

Why not just go ahead, why cancel if you actually do want the surgery?

It isn't easy to do anything when you work a night shift 60 miles each way from home I'm afraid. They rang yesterday, I was correct, they said 7 days, I now have the great task of wondering when I will get my full deposit back, they say 28 days, but there are lots that have to wait a lot longer. The only reason I cancelled it was because their so called customer service was absolutely terrible. Dianne the person who on Saturday pretty much called me a liar and wanted to report me for making a fraudulent complaint was as nice as pie to me yesterday, no mention of anything she said to me Saturday, certainly no apology, which made me laugh. I am now stuck on where I can go to get it done that will do a good job and also not treat me like dirt.

Its great that you will be getting your deposit back (hopefully) but have you cut off your nose to spite your face as you still want the treatment done, you may end up travelling further and paying more, only time will tell
