Hi everyone I have £40,000 to invest is it enough to get a monthly income out of it. I know nothing about investments in case you are wondering.

You can moderately sustainably drawdown about 3-4% per year if sensibly invested. You would hope it would increase broadly with inflation. So perhaps £120/month.0
