Pretty tempted to pre-order the Pip-Boy edition...

Tried to order the pipboy edition yesterday online with Game, just wouldn't work.
Popped into a store an ordered it there
I'm a little concerned that i actually have ordered the pipboy edition, i expected the receipt to show "pipboy" or something, (plus the girl serving seemed not really with it. )
Has anyone ordered in store? What does it say on your receipt?0 -
dep a20 + clu on mine, I know it's the pip boy edition I've ordered as I know the guy who put it through for me, have to remember that Game are ultimately trying to keep up with the flow of the stream here. Given it was just announced it's not surprising if it's just a case of "get it in quick & polish it up later"!Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

I know this is all new for the shops, I don't really blame them. It's just I never pre-order and have never brought a special edition before. I would hate for this one to screw up.
I'm wondering what system requirements this will be, my PC is 5 years old and I have been talking about upgrading it for some time.0 -
A 5 year old PC likely won't run it, I'm half expecting minimum of 8gb ram, quad core processor & 2gb graphics card with a recomended of 8gb, i5 processor & 4gb graphics. Wouldn't surprise me to see them recommending either a GTX 970/R9 280X and not unlikely to see it being 980 & 290X.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

Mine is an overclocked i3, not sure how that will cope. I knew I need to up the Ram it only has 2 X 2Gig sticks in it at the moment.
G card wise I need to take a look at what my options are.0 -

I'll urge caution, what I posted are nowhere near officially issued, just what I'd suspect to be the case - a decent benchmark would be to check the specs required for say Arkham Knight & work from there. I'm personally sorting out a new computer this month which in theory should be more than enough to cover anything I'll throw at it for the next couple of years. I know I'm not going lower than 8gb ram & I'll be putting a 280X card in it as it's the card currently "pound for pound" leading the pack especially as they've went down a bit.
For a November release I'd maybe expect to be hearing minimum specs in September when they'll likely either leak or be announced in order to give enough time for upgrades.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0 -
No that's fine thanks, when I brought my PC, I picked out the most graphically intensive game available and built it to that.
I am learning as I go with pc upgrades, i'll use your specs just to price up a minimum and go from there.0 -
No more Pip-Boys left.
WAIL!!
