Anyone else super excited about Fallout 4?

No firm release date set yet, but the official trailer has been released.

I think they will be releasing some gameplay footage at E3 in a week or so too. :T

I'll be more excited when the release date is known, I'm not sure I can stand the hype and endless previews for another year like what's happened with Witcher 3 for example.

Well, this is personal preference, but I've no love at all for Fallout. I just find it so absolutely depressing it's unreal, but that's just me.

That besides, it's to be hoped maybe they're still working on the textures, because that dog looks decidedly last generation. Would have thought it would have moving more dynamic fur for example.

Really looking forward to FO4, fallout is one of those games your can keep picking up and playing over and over. The potential modding that normally follows, is a big win for me.

Considering upgrading my system when it does finally come out.

I played a couple of hundred hours on both FO3 and New Vegas, and still never saw or completed everything. I was perfectly happy to just take my time wandering around the wasteland. :j Hopefully FO4 will have the same scope and landscape.....I'm sure it will do.

Bethesda are releasing more info at E3 shortly, so we will know more then.

I know loads of people have been complaining about the graphics, but I'm not too bothered. I don't play a huge number of games, especially recent ones, so it all looks good to me.

What platform will you be playing on? For me, I'll be getting a PS4 as my PC isn't up to spec.

10th November and yep, I've already got the pip-boy edition preordered, watching what I did of that presentation makes the game look insanely good. Speaking to the people I tend to trust on gaming issues everyone's saying that this is Game of the Year stuff & I'm inclined to agree, it looks stunning.

So yeah, PC version for me thank you & a pip-boy to go with it - shall look rather nice sitting next to my Fallout 3 lunch box!

bluenoseam, where have you pre-ordered from? I can't see it on Amazon, and no price on GAME.

It's a Game exclusive, £20 deposit with a final price at £100 so a few months to save up the £80 you need to pay - they're also giving bonus points if you preorder a few games during E3. (4 I think it is) Looking highly likely given the fact we're 2-3 conferences in and I've already got one on order!
