Debt free:Moving to China

Doubt he'd get those markers as how would they differentiate him from any other non payer?
It would have appeared that he took the loans with no intention to repay, if payments aren't made.
If someone has made repayments already of more than 1-2 months, it looks much more honest from the banks PoV.💙💛 💔0 -
Thanks for the usefull tips Im glad i have more devils on my shoulder will definatley consider paying loan for two months before I move, have allot to get ready still.
And why do people think this is a wind up? I find it amusing when i read it, Im generally moving to china (which imo is better than britain in terms of quality of life, especially as a foreigner) and probably like anybody with a brain cell would want to have spare cash with me. If I can feel safe in a new country away from debt collectors why not take a few loans out if I do it smartly and face no real reprecusions. :cool:0 -
Oh well put your money where your mouth is and report back with who lends to ya! Least do your part for the country before you go! we can check out who is following regulation as boring as that is to you
Soz funny moodyou haven't been reading this have you

Again good luck with getting more then £100 in the current climate and not getting a damaged report in the process, alrighty! Points you seem to miss.
Half this thread talks about loans from the High Street so you're best finding "Young British & Broke - The Truth About Payday Loans" on youtube (was a 2013 documentary) even that features the caps that are now in place!0 -
I read somewhere that China is mostly a cash economy.
If something happens to compromise your ability to earn, then what?“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

Still fraudulent, and if you suddenly up and leave, there is more of a case for the companies that it's pre-planned, especially if you own your house. And why do people think this is a wind up? Worst case scenario is you'll face an international arrest warrant.
China is a pain for formalities with the government, and whilst I'm not exactly sure of the visa requirements for your circumstances, there isn't a simple visa for visiting friends, for example.
If you do not update with a change of address etc, then it's very possible you'd be bankrupted in the UK by people wanting their money back, and by doing things in the way you suggest, there's a chance that any CCJ against you would never be barred from enforcement.
Running from a problem is not the best way to feel safe (been there, dont that, but not committed offences when doing it), and part of you will probably always worry whether you've been unknowingly taken to court/been declared bankrupt (and probably slapped with a BRO for not cooperating, meaning you won't be discharged until you've sorted it out)
Life in China can also not be so wonderful, and looking down the VK wall of a friend currently living there is enough to see that. There's a huge issue of non-payment by an employer = can't pay bills, but also means she can't return to Russia (as this also requires money), but also the visa type not allowing her to change employers. This is a very difficult situation, and you'll suddenly find that far from the reality, things become very difficult, especially when you take into account that foreigners have very few rights in China, and are often unaware of the rights they do have.Serendipitious wrote: »I read somewhere that China is mostly a cash economy.

See last paragraph above.💙💛 💔0 -

'Anyone with a brain cell' would save enough money for start up and a significant contingency fund before going, not believe they were Teflon coated and bad sh*t wouldn't/couldn't happen to them.
As Lonestar says, how long until your passport expires? Not thought about that, I suspect. Or when the medical insurance won't pay for treatment you need and you try to slink back here for free treatment.
I really hope you do leave. We don't need people with your level of morality.LBM July 2006. Debt free 01 Sept 12 .. :T

I know you are just a troll, but doing what you suggest just makes you scum. Absolute pond life scum.0 -
BTW I'm sure you genuinely never intend to return to Blighty and all that - but even Ronnie Biggs did eventually, and he started with a bigger pot! Having planned on emigrating myself a few times, I've typically found the 6-month mark is where the grass stops looking greener - you may be surprised what you miss!
It might be as simple as missing going to the pub for a leisurely pint in the beer garden or as non-obvious as getting bored of getting crap quality and adulterated food (if you live as a local). I've not lived in China itself, but in some places with no local quality control which are flooded by cheap Chinese knock-offs - things you'd never imagine like circuit safety breakers with just a hefty wire inside, USB charging sockets which blow up devices, plywood that looks fine around the edges but is so full of air and void of wood you cannot cut, screw or nail it. Things you wouldn't expect to have to check, like if eggs or tripe are genuine!
Anyway, if you have a good relationship with PDL comoanies already from previous loans, have nobody listed on your contacts, and think you can pull a grand or two (tops, I imagine) then they probably aren't going to find you in China, you're right. I would suggets that having an existing relationship with PDL companies does suggest some poor money handling in the past, and unless you've actually changed at core (and this suggests you may not have) then you'll quickly find yourself broke and borrowing again, but in a foreign land where you're well away from the protections you enjoy in the UK. Just a warning!0 -
Oh these morale cruisaders, getting all worked up behind there computer screens, hillarious. :rotfl:how i feel right now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vx0zU0meEFE
my passport will be fine as far as expiration goes, as for bad sh*t happening in a foreign country, yea I have a certain amount of startup cash with me and an emergency fund if I did have to get a plane back to UK. but im cutting it fine in regards to emergency funds so the loan is just meant to make me feel safer,
As for the loans if I conatct the issuers after i paid 2 months already and say im in china and trying to find work maybe paying a month or two even then, I dont think it would be preceived fraudlaunt if I didnt pay teh rest I can say that finding work in china not going well, maybe pay £1 a month or something riddiclous to cover myself.0
