Is it worth is when buying a fairly new second hand car, or is it "Snake Oil"?

Like all insurance and service plans, it'll be worth it if you need to make a claim and will feel like a rip off if you dont or have an issue the terms clearly state arent covered.
Just be very clear about what is and isnt covered, I looked at a warranty when my last convertible had a water ingress issue that fried the electronics for the roof. VW paid the £4k or so that time to repair it but I was worried about future events so looked at a warranty. All the warranties I saw excluded water ingress though so my key concern was clearly not covered.0 -
Unless its a manufacturers warranty then treat is as hamster bedding.
If they throw it in for free then carry on, but if your paying for it then its
usually not worth it.
The AA one seems to be one of the better ones but even they refuse claims with silly excuses.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
