Oh dear I've had an email from Fox. It seems Trev doesn't appear to have permission to use a Simpsons character and they have passed it in to their legal team.

I wonder who had the better legal team Trev the clamp or Fox?

Never fear, Trev has the 'Lawyer in a Box' invention he made. He'll easily beat Fox with that, and of course his year 7 grammar.

I have to laugh at the irony on this piece

    http://www.national-clamps.com/news.php?xr=22

most of the things he screams on about , he has actually ditched

Are they members of a trading body like the BPA?
The British Parking Association has a code of conduct that is second-to-none. I somewhat disagree with the ceiling release fee of 125, but all in all the criteria and standards are very high. So much so, a new break-away organisation has been formed for all of those who have failed to gain membership.

Do they have access to the DVLA? Are they a member of the AOS?
Following an exclusive by the Daily Mail three years ago, the DVLA have limited the access to public records by vetting those who request such information. Basically anyone can gain access to records with a justifiable reason.

The term justifiable is now not simply a letter or fax with the 2.50 search fee enclosed. For multiple trade enquiries, all requests must use EDI (Electronic Data Interface). The criteria and costs involved are phenomenal and the standards, as you would expect, are of the highest. If a company declares that they are a member of the DVLA AOS then seek evidence.***** If they have they are pukka and safe, all others rely on 64% of the public making early payments and taking the early bird discount, therefore eliminating a need to access the records.

    *****Tony Duffy:
Further to your earlier email correspondence with my colleague Ms.
Parmenter, I can advise you that ANPR Ltd have supplied a copy of
their membership of The Credit Services association which is an ATA
    registered with DVLA

    Dear Mr x

    I have received a reply from the DVLA;

DVLA do not release data to ANPR Limited for trespass and CSA is not recognised as a relevant ATA for the purposes of releasing data for parking / trespass purposes.

This is consistent with the reply that they sent to you and provides sufficient assurance for me to close this case.

If further information is made available, I will re-open.

    Kind regards

Since their expulsion have ANPR Ltd made any requests for registered
    keepers details?

If any such requests have been made have the DVLA provided the detail?

ANPR Ltd has made requests for registered keeper details since the termination of
their BPA membership but no registered keeper details have been released by
    DVLA

    Dear Mr xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,

    Thank you for your e-mail.

I can confirm ANPR Ltd left the BPA on the 15th April 2015.

I will contact ANPR Ltd to remind them to remove the information from the ticket. However, as they are no longer members I cannot guarantee a reply will be received.

    Kind regards,

    and from there own website:

    Change

It is rumoured that ANPR Ltd are no longer members of the BPA and that we've been 'Kicked Off' off their Approved Operator Scheme. I can confirm that the rumours are 100% true. Ironically our membership was due to expire in March and we made it blatantly clear we will not be renewing our £5,000 membership.
As expected we anticipated a change long ago and have initiated our contingency plan.

in fact if you are bored this evening , watch those http://www.national-clamps.com/tv.php
And you can get to see what an "expensive" Spanish villa terrace looks like if memory serves. Provided that particular clip is still there. I've taken the mickey out of it before so Old Trev might have removed it. :D
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Try as I might, and on dozens of occasions, I have yet to be able to open any of the individual video links and view and hear owd Trev in full flow.

I'm using an iPad. Any suggestions?
