Investing £20k

Hi guys
I have around £20k that i would like to invest for some long term growth. Happy to take some risk.
Interested in funds but proving a bit challenging to find anything suitable. As a Muslim I have to avoid anything related to banks, alcohol, tobacco, interest etc
Most of the top funds seem to have elements of the above so are not suitable.
Any ideas please?
Thanks

There are specialist Islamic funds which should be compliant with your restrictions.
Here are some.

Thanks Andy
Performance on them hasn't been great but i suppose given the restrictions its what i can expect.0 -

Depends what's more important, getting a good return or meeting restrictions.
There are also ethical funds that may meet your requirements too.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

But every company in the world, near enough, uses banks, and takes on debt that pays interest. Probably nearly every one serves alcohol at social occasions too. If you take the narrowest definition of your taboos, wouldn't they rule out investing at all?Free the dunston one next time too.0
