Complicated (?) Insurance Claim

Hi - I wonder if anyone can shed any light on the following.

I am the landlord of a rented property that has just been damaged as follows: -

1. A neighbour has reversed their car off of their drive, across the road and into my tenants car which was parked on the property's drive. The neighbour has admitted liability.

2. The tenant's car has been pushed into my garage door and damaged it. The tenant's car is uninsured.

Who claims what, and against which policy? Looking forward to advice as this is doing my head in...

You both can claim off the negligent car driver that caused the damage.

You both can claim off the driver or you can claim off your Landlords cover and it will counter claim off the driver.

The former is cleaner and avoids pay excesses and recovering but both are viable.

Excellent. A lot less complicated than I feared as well. Thanks to all!
