Over the last few days I have had help from many on here now I have just to sort out my slow start up, from pressing the button to being online takes at least 5 minutes, I am not sure what to do so any help would be good. Over the last few days I have unistalled firefox and reinstalled and a tune up (refresh firefox) run ccleaner and registry cleaner done a full scan with malwarebytes unchecked all the boxes at msconfig not sure what else to try.
Look forward to any gentle replies.

My slow start up 'seems' to be partially/caused, by "file back up running". Wish I could get rid of this. Anyone know.?0

The easiest way is always the same, copy data you don't want to lose to a usb hard disk, use the factory restore partition or windows disc to re-install windows, then copy the data back from the usb drive to c:

Tuneup/cleaning software, and any other method you may have heard about is, and always was, a complete waste of time.
Some of those disabled msconfig items may be useful, antivirus and other useful items often hangout there, it would be unusual for every item to be undesirable or superfluous.Don't you dare criticise what you cannot understand0 -
To posters of slow laptops :- provide make and model number.
Re. "file back up running". 1. is it running? 2. what program is it? e.g. Microsoft Backup 3. Either let it complete or cancel it.0
