Leasing Cars - Excess Mileage caps?

Hi All,
I'm looking at what appears to be a very good lease deal (which suits my circumstances at the moment). I do roughly 10-12,500 miles a year and have done the calculations on the options being advertised for the car I want...

From those calculations, even with the 2-tiered excess mileage fees it's cheaper for me to get the deal on a 5000 per annum deal, or an 8000 per annum deal than it is to get the 10k deal. Significantly cheaper over the length of the contract, in fact.

My question is, do leases generally have a maximum limit on excess mileage? Obviously if it comes to it and I sign up I'll be going through the fine print, but in the meantime I thought I'd see if anyone had any experience?

Cheers!

It will all be in the agreement. What is your excess mileage charge and does it change with number of miles over allowance (I doubt it but you never know).

The cheapest I have found is to to take the allowance one level below what you think you need and then pay hopefully only a small charge.

Lease companies can be sneaky so double check everything.
