Car Credit

Hi all,
I have an Equifax score of 474 (may have just increased a bit further as late payment increases >1 year ago) which is at the low end of Excellent, and a Noddle score of 5/5. I earn £35k, have no debts bar student loan, and have only one accidental late payment on my credit card just over a year ago. Everything else paid on time etc and have signed on electoral roll. Have changed addresses 3 times in 5 years due to landlords selling up etc.
Do I have a decent chance for a mortgage or car credit, or will I have to wait for the late payment to go >3 or >6 years?
Thanks,
Gobbolino

If you have a number of credit agreements on file, and just one missed payment from a year ago then that alone is unlikely to prevent you getting accepted for credit.
It might prevent you from getting the most competitive deals/rates.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
