Online Kitchen Store - any experiences?

Hi
We're trying to decide on which kitchen supplier to use. Have looked at all the usual suspects (Wickes, B&Q, Magnet, !!!!!! - which we love but too expensive for our budget). We're very tempted by the prices offered by ONLINE KITCHEN STORE (Bedford) - recommended by our builder - has anyone used them and are you happy with the result? Many thanks.

I have not used them but would point out that you are not comparing like with like. The web reviews will guide you - they are positive except for one. It is this one that speaks volumes. The Online Kitchen is response is they regard their company as a wholesaler and to not expect the retail experience.
Hence you are doing the kitchen equivalent of comparing the prices and retail experience of Waitrose with that of Booker.
To check the value and quality of Online Kitchens they need to be cross referenced against that at Howdens, Magnet Trade or Stax - to name just three examples.
You would also be prudent to physically check the quality of the items they make, and the customer back up. This is easy with the likes of Wickes or any local supplier. It is less straightforward when the factory, or showroom, is hundreds of miles away.
Hope this helps.0 -
Have you looked at the prices here?

I have also recently used them and was impressed with the whole experience...0 -
Having looked at the website, I know who these people are and all I can say is I wouldn't buy from them. If you are prepared to buy from an online retailer, DIY kitchens is a more reputable outfit.
A little bit of snooping around will identify this outfit to you. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
