Car Insurance claim

Hi all, looking for advice please...
Long story short, my car was stolen by an uninsured driver whilst I was away on holiday, it was crashed and the person was over the legal limit....
Obviously my insurer now has to deal with the claim, looks like a possible write off....
My issue is this, I had disclosed on my policy a DR10 conviction from 4 years ago however, stupidly I haven't disclosed an sp30 from last year as thought the DR10 being the most serious would supersede this anyway?!
I'm now slightly concerned my insurer will void the claim when I have my conference call with the DVLA, can anyone shed light on this please?
Any help appreciated

Are you insured by Admiral?
I assume the uninsured person who stole your car was a friend or family member, if this the case?0 -

Consider coming clean with them prior to the conference call!0 -
Yes Admiral...
A friend, who had access to the house to collect some belongings(key was left with a neighbour) but no permission to take keys to the car.
Police obviously involved, and full conviction expected...0 -
Not sure this makes any difference, but I'm a named driver on my girlfriends policy who has 9yrs no claims...0

She will need to report all this to her insurers (ie your conviction and your claim) otherwise her policy could be invalidated in the event of any claim she or you make on her policy (and if a third party makes a claim against her that the insurer has to pay out on they may have grounds to come after her to reimburse them if she has not told them the truth about your convictions/claim(s)0

Thank you Quentin, but surely if the worst comes to the worst, then the person who stole the car and committed the offence would be liable?
Will ask her to call Admiral in the morning and explain though...0 -
Is the car that was stolen insured in your girlfriend's name?0
-
Yes Dacouch, she is the main policy holder0
-
Whose name is the car registered in?
Who paid for the car originally0 -
It is registered in my name but bank records will show that she obtained the finance to pay for the car0
