I have a problem in that I uninstalled firefox yesterday and re installed it, now when I click to open firefox I get some EE page to sign in for emails like a bookmark, I would like to get rid of this as when I click on it freezes the laptop and I have to wait 2 or 3 minutes I have not been with EE for over 3 years can anyone help with this one.

I suggest that you uninstall it again, then run CCleaner and also it's registry cleaner.
Then, *download* and reinstall it from the Mozilla website
