Hi
I have microsoft office professional plus 2010. My old computer had to be restored to factory settings, so I used the product key code for a second time. Then the computer gave up the ghost and I have a new one with Windows 8.1 and I used the key code again.
Whenever I open a word/excel page, the pop up tells me it needs activating, but when I try to do this online, it tells me that the activation code has been used the maximum number of times.
Is there a solution for this problem that won't cost me money or will I have to buy a new package?
Thank you
Amanda

Call Microsoft and let them know that it isn't being used on any other machines.0

This. I had the same issue a couple of months ago and was dreading the phone call and expecting a right rigmarole to sort, but the reality was it was quick and painless.0
