I took a loan out in 2001 through Black Horse with and ex partner, I have now received refund which I didn't apply for, my ex partner must have! She must not have taken my name off the loan, I have contacted Black Horse and she has received a separate payment to mine. Will she be able to claim the payment made to me or is there nothing she can do about it as I only paid towards the loan for approx 1 year!

If it was a joint loan they split it 50/50 (logical, to prevent one partner taking the lot and not paying the other). Any negotiations based on how much you paid towards it are between you and her, the bank will not care.

Also, if your partner used a claims co to put the mis sell in, you are not liable to pay 50% of the fee as you did not sign a contract with the claims co.0
