    What happens next depends on the landlord.

    He is entitled to apply for possession. He can(and under almost all circumstances be awarded)court costs of an intitial £280 against your daughter.

    What date does the Sec 21 expire?
    Did your daughter pay a deposit? If so, has it been protected, and did she receive the prescribed information, and terms and conditions of the scheme it was protected with?

    Assuming it is valid, and she does not leave, the LL can apply for a court possession order, and she will probbly have to pay the court costs.
