I always buy chicken breasts from Costco.

Really good quality, and they come in large trays so I split them up before freezing

Thanks Candlelight. I have bought chicken pieces from Costco before but we don't currently have a membership. Maybe we should rejoin.

I get mine from my local butcher and the price is comparable to supermarkets and the birds are not from foreign parts, very good value I think.

We buy from a local farm, free range, not the cheapest but very tasty.
I usually plan to eat only a small amount of chicken (usually 1 small thigh per person ) and bulk out as appropriate with veges, salad etc.

I like Aldee free range chicken - just under £5 for a decent size bird.
and even their cheaper chicken tastes better than other supermarkets.

I get all chicken ( unless a friendly farmer is doing a swap) from the chicken factory. Can pay as little as 25 p for a 3lb chicken.
