Tesco Lawnmower
Afternoon All
My lawnmover decided to go bye bye a few weeks back, a few fruitless efforts to repair it later and ive given up and consigned it to the bin. I only have a small lawn (about 15 meters long by 5 wide) so don't need anything spectacular, Moneys is a bit tight at the moment so jsut want something to get me through this year (and maybe next) till the garden is done properly.
I was looking at this:
http://www.tesco.com/direct/tesco-1000w-electric-rotary-lawn-mower/274-1020.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=274-1020
But seems to cheap to be reliablke, anyone got one? Any independent reviews?
Cheers
Paul
Edit: Alternativly, would it be worth the extra 25 quid for this one?

I would get this, or a variant of it.

Might be cheaper somewhere else too. It gets good reviews from people who use leccy mowers.

I've just bought the same model -it's easy and compact.

+1 for the Bosch Rotak, mine has been fine for years. Picked up it cheap 'open box' from Amazon Warehouse.0

Ahh the Bush Rotak! Funnily enough, thats the one thats just died on me after less than a year! Can I assume I just got unlucky with mine then and buy again? to be fair, i was happy with it while it worked!0

If it died so soon, you should take it back and ask for a replacement.
Under the Sale of Goods Act goods must be fit for purpose and of reasonable durability, though I'd imagine Bosch products all come with a year's guarantee anyway.0 -
Unfortunatly, I've lost the recepit, so can't take it back, if I'm honest, I'm not even sure how I paid, be it debit, credit or cash, so even finding a matching statment enrty would be awkward. Lesson learned though, must be better at keeping receipts etc instead of into the pit of doom they usualy go that I call a "filing system"0
