Samsung TV PiP Audio

I've had a samsung TV (ue40h6400) for around 18 months or so. Recently I've been using it with PS4 on full-screen whilst TV is on a picture in picture (PiP) with the audio coming from the PiP. This worked fine for around a day and a half and then suddenly stopped. The PiP menu isn't allowing me to select anything other than main and, when I change channel on the TV, I see a mute symbol beneath the PiP.

Can anyone offer a suggestion on what I need to do to fix this? I've tried all combinations of muting, power cycles and even updated the software in my TV (#FirstWorldProblems).

    Didn't you notice that not the whole link is "click-able"? Just copy the whole thing and paste it in the address bar of your browser.

    Tried that. I think it's got something to do with the way that the link gets truncated in the middle to show ... instead of some of the characters. However... tried googling the pdf name and got a working link.

    I see, it was the forum software which cu out something. You could have copied the link first and add the bits at the end afterwards.

    Edit: I think the forum software doesn't like the square brackets

    no - same. When I post it IS the full link. Don't know what the forum does 'to' it.
    Look on Samsungs site. They have emanuals/PDFs for this product.

    I called samsung today and they took control of the TV remotely, ran a bunch of tests, reset all the settings and then said they were stumped. They've passed it on to the next level of support and said they'll call me back in a few days.

    I'll keep posting updates on here anyway as I always hate it when you find someone posting with the same problem you have, sort it and give no info about how :)

    Finally sorted it (by accident). It appears that when the soundbar is on, it doesn't allow you to select audio source. Turning the soundbar off, you get the choice.

    Since my last post, I've had a long exchange with Samsung tech support who helped me to try resetting everything (in stages) and then told me they gave up and I'd need to pay a service centre to look into it (on a TV that's 18 month old).

    Still, all sorted in the end
