HSBC - Automatic Upgrade to Advance ?

I have a HBSC bank account, there is around £4k a month paid in and the average monthly balance is between £4K - £5K, if they see this continually happening will they Automatically upgrade me to the Advance account or will I still have to apply for it ?.

Don't think there is an auto upgrade. I would call them if I were you to get the upgrade done.

I'd also move a lot of my money into an interest paying current account and only use HSBC for their Regular Saver and their Save Together offer.

A lot of the T&C's are changing as of 18th June, most of which include auto upgrades. But the review time and notice period varies on these.

Best contact them to ask?

auto-upgraded mine.no calls at all

Going by previous posts on another forum, some people have been upgraded automatically, some are eligible for upgrade without credit scoring, and some need to run a credit scored application. No idea what the criteria for each scenario is.
