Increasing my savings...

Hello,

I currently have £23k. I have £20k in a fixed ISA until next year and the remaining in current and savings accounts.

I am currently saving for a house. I know I have more than a decent deposit however would like to double the above. My two savings accounts pay around 1% and I tend to half my wage (£500+) and pay them into them.

My question to you knowledgeable (:D) people is what advice do you have in order for me to increase my savings? I have been looking at these regular savers however they would only allow me to save a limited amount.

You can put about £1,200 a month into 4 and 6% regular savings accounts. How much is it you want to save in what period? Why do you have savings in a 1% account? What does your credit history look like, can you easily get current accounts? Did you read this?

I am currently looking into a regular savings account. I currently have £23k So would like to save another £20k.

The reason I have these two 1% savings accounts is because I cannot find any others which are easy access and give that amount of interest.

I have never took out a loan or anything but when I checked my credit score It stated that it was "Good". I am currently looking at a credit card in order to keep/improve this score for the future.
