When I want to play a video on my PC I just go to the Videos folder and click on the video file I want to play.
When I tried to set up a similar system on my young grandsons
Acer B1-730HD Iconia One Android tablet I always seem to end up clicking through a large number of folders to find the one containing the Fireman Sam etc. videos.
The tablet has the VLC Media Player and the Vids are stored on an SD card. Can someone point me in the direction of an app (preferably free) that will simplify the procedure.
Many thanks

    VLC.

Just tell it in Settings what folder(s) you want it to scan for videos, and then anything in there will be available to watch.

Download es file explorer free from the play store.
Go to the folder containing your videos and hold your finger on it.
When it highlights its self, click options and create a shortcut to the folder on your tablets "desktop"

    Boooom

Just use Google "Play Movies & TV" app, select "On Device", find the files and select to open with whatever app you like.
