To celebrate the release of ‘The Water’s Lovely' and ‘Not in the Flesh’, Classic FM is giving you the chance to visit the village of Romsey which is the real life setting of the fictional home town of Inspector Wexford, Kingsmarkham.
Win a Weekend in Sussex
You and a friend will stay in the beautiful Chilworth Manor Hotel, which is just minutes from Romsey. You can explore the stunning Sussex scenery which has inspired so many classic detective novels.
And just so you really get inside the workings of the famous author Ruth Rendell, we will also send you for afternoon tea in the Courtyard Coffee House in the centre of the village, which has been used regularly as a setting for the Inspector Wexford series.
It’s a great chance to spend the day in the setting for one of Ruth Rendell’s most famous creations this summer, courtesy of Classic FM.
Your prize includes: Return train travel for two people to Romsey, return private transfers from the station to the hotel, overnight accommodation at the Chilworth Manor Hotel including breakfast and afternoon tea for two people at the Courtyard Coffee House.

Not sure if any use but the Prize is a stay at Chilworth Manor which is in Hampshire, just north of Southampton. Nice place too.Winnings 2007 = £463 winnings 2008 = £30002009 prizes = Tinkerbell DVD, Lipstick, apertif dish, London day out, secret service xbox game.0
