            You're absolutely right mclaren32. We do what we can to give our families the best possible. Your original post indicated that you wish to move at some point, and wondered whether you'd be better off doing it sooner or wait till later.
 My 'crystal ball' which certain people seem to like to pick up on constantly is not about predicting the future at random, it is based purely on long term statistics which I think it is fair to say indicate that prices tend to rise. Even the bolshiest on here cannot deny that there is a general upward trend, throughout the twentieth century and into the twenty-first. There will be peaks and troughs, but you and I are looking at this long term. And it isn't about an investment anyway, it is about the ability to afford the home you want for your family. My opinion is, prices will likely be higher in 9 years time and what is within reach currently may not be then.
 Your post asked for opinions, different members have different opinions. There is really no need for any member to pick on another because their view differs to their own. The point is to get a variety of views which may help the OP make their own mind up.0
