I leave it installed on my own machine of course ..
But when im using it as a tool to remove some stuff from someone elses machine, I tidy up after myself.
I don't leave my tools all over the floor.
My mum would shout at me
:rotfl: like it
I have it as part of my standard security & maintenance suite that I put on all rebuilds and clean-ups...
...however giving people the tools & instructions on how to use those tools to do a bit of DIY maintenance doesn't always work ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

MB found BrowserStudio which according to the install info had been on PC since November. It installs browser extensions and I had none so either it was never activated or I saw the extension and blew it off. I simply don't recall it at all and have no idea what it was that it came with although MiniTool Partition Wizard was also installed November - I didn't think to check before I uninstalled BrowserStudio so can't be sure it was the same day.
Machine at home clean.
I seem to remember that the last time (year ago?) I went to install MiniTool Partition, it tried to add something, perhaps Open Candy or a downloader?
I didn't bother with it any further.Move along, nothing to see.0 -

If you have a Hiren's bootcd, MiniTool Partition Wizard is on that (with no installation and therefore no carp with it), and bl00dy useful it can be too......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

It's certainly handy. IIRC it was the only thing that would delete all the umpteen partitions that got left on a USB drive I'd set up as a bootloader for something or other. Chances are I accidentally let it do the install but spotted it and only removed the extension rather than the thing that installed it.0

Gparted with Xboot is my usual choice, if outside of windows.
Getting too old to remember, but there was definitely something dodgy about that MiniTool download, and yes it was the proper site.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
