I had my pregnancy confirmed last week and am a bit further along than I thought
Have you informed your mortgage lender of your change in circumstances?

Your future income and childcare arrangements will need to be added in to affordability to ensure the mortgage remains affordable.

Could you let your house sale go through and move into the caravan until the mother moves out?

    You have my sympathy.

We had something similar except it was an adult child that would not move out. Last week we just ended the whole process after weeks and weeks of nonsense surrounding the issue. Unless there is a resolution soon I would think you are heading towards the whole thing becoming a farce as in these situations, if the vendor does actually want to sell, the easiest thing for them to do is slow everything down and only respond intermittently while trying to resolve the issue on their end.

That would be pretty risky, if they did that they would become landlords to the vendors mother which would bring a whole barrel of complications. Plus she might still refuse to move out.

    The very one.

Sometimes you need to think laterally to solve problems.

I said their house sale, not their purchase.

Well, the daughter might not want strangers living in her caravan. It might be placed on her front garden.

Also, it might not be anywhere near the OP.
