Virgin VPlus PVR

Morning all,

Does anyone have any experience with the Telewest / Virgin Media V Plus box? The one that records live telly. I want to record a program onto the internal hard drive (easy) but I then want to be able to take that file off the V+ box and onto the laptop. There are all sorts of connectors on the back of the box, including an ethernet port so I'm thinking that might be an option.

Has anyone done this, or do they know to do it?

Ta muchly.

Like the Sky box, forget it. It doesn't record the file as a format you can use and you'll have to take the HDD out AFAIK. You'll be able to see the file, move it, delete it etc but not play it or convert it.
