Broken Watch Charger

Hi All
Looking for a bit of advice...
I bought a Samsung smartwatch 9 months ago from the Google Play Store. Recently the bespoke charging adaptor which clips onto the back of it snapped. I had read about this soon after purchasing the watch, lots of people were having the same issue due to the rather delicate nature of the clip used. I tried to make sure I was gentle however the inevitable finally happened and the little plastic clip snapped off meaning I can no longer charge my watch.
I am happy to buy a new charger despite the poor design however it is no longer available anywhere online. Google directed me to Samsung who have told me that the watch is discontinued so if I can't find a new charger on a 3rd party site its tough luck.
With the watch being under a year old I find that a little difficult to stomach as it wasn't a cheap 'throw away' product. What (if any) is the best course of action I can take and is there any legislation that will help me in this matter?
Thanks
Paul

Not if you snapped it, it will be put down to user damage.
If Samsung don't offer you a replacement then you could try threatening the retailer with the small claims court for not fit for purpose due to it's flimsy design. It's a chance you take, but if as you say there are a lot of cases then it may work.
Looks like a lot of chargers from third parties online for a Samsung smart watch, what is the model number.0 -
Its the Samsung Gear Live, not featured on their site anymore.
Unfortunately the way it clips onto the back of the watch its reliant on you slightly bending the shape to unhook it. With such a tiny plastic tab it would be almost impossible to avoid it breaking long term.0 -
