P60 and previous job

Hello everybody,
I just received my first P60 and I would like to understand some information.
I started to work in UK (I'm Italian) on November 2014, than my company was sold (or something like this) and I started with the new company on 1st of March 2015. So I received a copy of the P45 from the old company.

Now my P60 says:
Pay and Income Tax details
In previous employment(s) £0,0 - Tax deducted £0.0
In this employment £1410 - Tax deducted 115
Final tax code 1000LM1

£1410 is exactly my salary of March. Is it normal to have the zero in the "previous employment"? I'm sure the new company has my P45.

In my P45 is written £4723 of income with £358 of paid tax.
So in the 2014/2015 tax year I earned £6133.

I would like to ask for a tax return, as I earned less than £10000, what can I do? Can I ask directly for a tax return or there is something wrong in the P60?

I hope to be clear, otherwise let me know.

Thank you!

as you 'changed' jobs you should have received the P45 and then you should have given the appropriate parts to your 'new' employer.

This clearly didn't happen for whatever reason which is why your P60 doesn't show previous earnings

you should have paid no tax but some NI

easiest thing to do is the phone HMRC with the facts in front of you : try first thing in the morning 8am ish

presumably your current taxcode is 1060L?

I paid £426 of NIC. Do you think I can ask for a refund for the NIC as well? I haven't understood how it works with the allowance.
In the P60, obviously, is written only £89.76.

NIC is not refundable, sorry. This is always worked out on a weekly basis

Where as Income tax is annual.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

NI is due if you earn over X amount in a particular pay period (this may be weekly or monthly depending how you are paid) there is not an annual free allowance like with tax, so with few exceptions it is not refundable
