Have you had difficulty switching/cancelling a 'bundled' tv/phone/broadband contract?

Hello,
I'm a consumer finance journalist for The Observer and have been given permission by MSE to post on this forum.
I'm writing an article for the Observer this week and would like to interview some case studies about difficulties they've had cancelling/switching bundled contracts.
These have soared in popularity but can be a nightmare to leave!
Problems could range from spending hours on the phone trying to cancel contracts, to big charges for doing so, etc.
Case studies should ideally be willing to be photographed.
Let me know if you're interested by posting here and I'll be in touch if I can feature your tale.
Thank you for your time.
Harriet

I want to cancel my BT phone and broadband its not in contract btu BT want a £30 cancelation fee0

You are asking BT to cease your broadband rather than asking for a MAC code to transfer to another supplier. You give the MAC code to your new supplier
£30 is standard for a cease of broadbandEx forum ambassador

it is in contract, it's just not in minimum term. As above, it's an OR cease charge, not a cancellation fee-use a MAC and no charge will be made (unless you no longer require any service at all).No free lunch, and no free laptop
