    I'd phone/write the manufacturer, they only need the products codes on the packaging usually, they do like to know where you bought but I just say I can't remember as I shop in more than one supermarket regularly.

    Sorry for the late reply, but I had some progress.

    I wrote to the manufacturer fully expecting to be fobbed off, within two days I had an apology letter and vouchers for double what I spent.
