G24 + BPA - Steve Clark

So after a run in with G24 ( apparently you REALLY can't speak to Adrian King even after ringing 50 plus times in a morning :rotfl: Apparently their technology is so pathetic they can't even transfer you to a remote office #patheticexcuseG24  ).

So, G24 'claim' to be a member of the BPA on their signs but the logo doesn't differentiate between 'members' and members of the AOS.

I've spoke to Steve this morning at length about lots of things parking related and he agreed the signage with the BPA logo can be 'confusing'. For me the BPA logo means you get POPLA - no if's but or maybe's. But apparently there is a difference in membership. So G24 are NOT listed on the BPA website but they can be a member thus allowing them to display the logo - nothing misleading there at at all !!!!!!!

The problem is, Steve seems to actually be a reasonable guy, we had to agree to disagree on lots of things but he was open to discussion and debate. He even admitted there should be a single COP and the law should determine the charges. That said he said it would be price fixing for the BPA to set charges and that the £100 maximum in the BPA COP was only a 'guideline'.

Anyway, this morning has revealed to me that G24 really are the bunch of con artists I've always thought and that not everyone at the BPA is stupid. I look forward to my call from Adrian 'con artist' King because apparently my name and number have been given to him to ring me back ...... F**KING LIARS !!!

EDIT - in addition, he says he doesn't post on here because he'd get ripped to shreds regardless of what he posted.

EDIT EDIT - forgot to mention, Steve also suggested that mitigation circumstances WERE accepted .... really ???? Oh, and, allegedly, the BPA do NOT pay anything towards each POPLA appeal - the cost lands firmly on the operator.
